We are pleased to announce:
A joint meeting of the Chagos Conservation Trust and the Zoological Society of London
The Chagos Marine Reserve: Building on Success
Tuesday 27th November 2012, 10:30 - 17:30, followed by drinks reception
At the Zoological Society of London, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4RY
The British Indian Ocean Territory Marine Protected Area is the world's largest fully no-take marine reserve. Its marine life is strikingly abundant. This conference will provide both an update on the on-going science and conservation of the archipelago and look at future plans.
This year's research expedition to the Chagos archipelago obtained some excellent scientific results - and you will see spectacular images of island and marine life in an abundance and of a quality that is difficult to replicate elsewhere in today's over-exploited oceans.
Attendance: All places must be booked in advance.
Prices: Standard - £25, Concessions (CCT members, ZSL members, students, press) - £20
Both tickets include the conference, lunch, refreshments and reception.
Registration deadline: 18th November 2012
