Chagos Information Portal

The Chagos Information Portal, known as ChIP, is a reference library of a science, research and conservation work conducted in the Chagos Archipelago. ChIP is a user friendly, interactive and open source website, with information on research papers, scientific expedition, photos, videos, and an interactive map.

Birds of Chagos, Fishes of Chagos and Corals of Chagos are online encyclopedias of the biodiversity of the Chagos Archipelago.

ChIP will continue to grow with new information as researchers and conservationist learn more about this iconic ecosystem.

Google 360°

In March of 2015 an expedition to the Chagos Archipelago was conducted in collaboration with Google Trekker and Catlin Seasurvey.

This expedition resulted in an extensive library of 360 degree panoramic images of the Chagos Archipelago for 20 islands and 29 underwater transects.
